Creating Bright Holiday Memories
Across Denver, One Display at a Time
Christmas Light in Denver, CO
Denver Holiday Displays Built for the Whole Season
Front Range winters bring snow, ice, and subzero cold snaps. Many Denver holiday displays stay lit through the end of January, including the National Western Stock Show, so they need to withstand months of storms and freezing nights.
At Holiday Lights Denver, we design and install holiday lighting for commercial properties across Denver, plus custom displays for homes. Every project is a full-season service. We install it, maintain it, take it down, and store it until next year.
Whether you’re lighting one tree or an entire street, planning starts with a quick conversation. Call (303) 931-7300 to start planning this year’s display.

Our Residential and Commercial Holiday Light Installation Service in Denver
Residential Christmas Light Installation
A home display starts with what you want lit. Pick the roofline, the trees out front, a wreath over the door, the lawn, or all of it.
We set the timers to your schedule. The lights come on at dusk and go off when the house goes to bed.
Some homeowners want one tree done beautifully. Others want the whole property glowing. Whatever your Christmas spirit calls for, the scale is your call, and a Denver home never has to go over the top to look right.
Commercial Christmas Light Installation
Commercial displays are planned around the property and the people who run it. Our work covers properties such as historic downtown districts, where overhead street lighting and lit street trees carry the season. It also includes large buildings and public spaces, restaurants and quick-service locations, HOA and community entrances, property-managed communities, and recreation and aquatic facilities.
Lifts get us up to elevated rooflines and tall trees, snow or not. On suitable structures, magnetic mounts make for a fast, clean install and an equally clean takedown.
Displays can run through Christmas, through the end of January, or longer. We coordinate directly with property managers, and multi-location owners can roll several sites into one project.
Types of Lights and Styles We Install
C9 and C7 Roofline and Eave Lighting
Mini-Light Tree Wraps
Ground-Staked Lawn and Edging Lighting
Ground stakes hold lighting along your lawn and edging lines. The grounds then glow along with the house and trees.
Wreath, Reindeer, and Yard Décor Placements
Lit wreaths run from standard sizes up to oversized custom pieces of roughly 100 inches. Reindeer and yard décor are placed and lit along with the rest of the display.
Large-Scale Custom Holiday Trees
Why Denver Property Managers Pick Us for Big, Custom Displays
Built for Big Jobs
We take on displays that span a whole downtown district, with lighting strung overhead across the street and trees pushing fifty feet. That's the kind of scale most holiday lighting companies pass on. Our owner is on site for every large, technical install. If your Denver property needs a lift, a team, and a plan, it's our kind of project.
Custom-Built On Site
Nothing we install comes out of a box. Lights roll off the spool, get cut to your exact roofline, and are clipped and bulbed in place. Choose warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB; the design is yours.
Commercial-Grade LED We Supply
Every light on your display comes from us: commercial-grade LED in C9, C7, and mini-light tree wraps. It's one uniform system, mapped and inventoried, so the display looks as good on the last night of the season as it did on the first.
A Full-Season Service, Not a One-Day Install
Installation is where the job starts, not where it ends. We maintain the display all season and take it down when you're ready. Then it spends the next nine months in climate-controlled storage, binned, inventoried, and mapped to your property, at no extra charge.
Uniformed, Trained Technicians
The people on your roof are our own uniformed, CLIPA-trained technicians in logoed reflective vests. They work safely and efficiently, and they are never an unmarked crew pulled together last week.
Decades of Large-Scale Exterior Work
We grew out of an exterior services company that has worked on large commercial properties since 1999. We brought that same planning, safety, and follow-through to holiday lighting.
We Stand Behind Every Display
We stand behind every display we install: through the season with maintenance, at the end with takedown, and for the next nine months with climate-controlled storage. If something isn't right, we come back and make it right. A bulb out or a timer drifting? On displays we installed, we're typically back within 24 to 48 hours, and faster when a large display goes dark.
We See It Lit, Then You Sign Off
Whenever we can, we time installs so the display comes on while we're still there. We want to see it from the street the way you will. Every install ends with a walk-through and your sign-off; we don't call it done until you do.

Frequently Asked
Questions
Do you provide the lights, or do I need my own?
How do I get a quote, and what does it cost?
Estimates are free, and pricing is per foot with a $1,000 minimum. Most estimates come together from photos and project details you send us.
- Residential: Starting at $10 per foot, $1,000 minimum
- Commercial: Starting at $15 per foot
Most installations run $1,000 to $5,000. Elevation and technical work raise the price, and large projects are custom-quoted. That $1,000 minimum covers a full-season service: custom design, install, in-season maintenance, takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage, not just a crew on a ladder.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, in two situations. Multi-location owners get package pricing when several sites are installed together. Installs scheduled for September or October can also qualify for an early-season discount.
Do I need to be home?
No, but we prefer it. Being home for install and takedown keeps cameras, pets, and access from turning into surprises.
When should I book?
Installs run from September through November, and booking early secures your date. An early install can also qualify for the early-season discount.
Can you do a last-minute install?
Often, yes, when our schedule and materials allow. Reach out and we’ll tell you straight away what we can make happen.
What about weather?
We plan every install and takedown around Colorado weather. Snow and ice can push back roof and ladder work, though some winters bring very little snow.
How long does an installation take?
A typical residential install takes one to two days. Commercial timelines depend on the size of the display and how high we’re working.
